For anyone wishing to enter Pilates sessions as private, semi-private or in a group, on the ground or on machines, we strongly recommend to start with a postural assessment before the actual training. The record consists of a consultation/session with your instructor, a postural assessment, tests of flexibility (to assess muscle imbalances) and the strength of core muscles. This will allow your instructor to formulate (compose) a proper training tailored and responding to your demands and needs.

For more than 80% of students, often the first approach of Pilates is through "Matwork" or carpet on the ground. Most students / clients are not aware that specific devices used in this method were designed by the founder Joseph Pilates in the 1920's before the Pilates floor method "Contrology" has started in 1945.
Pilates devices were created in order to facilitate the solicitation of deep muscles and can move freely in all possible axes.
They are wonderful working tools for the method because they allow faster learning of Pilates, significantly more effective than floor based courses, provide versatility and are fully adapted to the needs of students. But the most important of these benefits is the fact that Pilates equipment gives you the phenomenal feeling of well-being, both physically and mentally!
A session consists of flexible exercises from the original repertoire combining strengthening, postural and joint mobilization, stretching and all this with co-ordinating breathing.
You can benefit from private lessons, duo (two people) or in small groups (max. 3-4 persons).
All our centers are equipped with at least one or more of these specific devices called: Reformer, Cadillac, Spine Corrector and Wunda Chair.
